One Family of the Full Circle Family

One Full Circle family includes Clare and her elderly mother, Dolly. “Be happy and keep a positive attitude” has been Dolly’s motto for as long as Clare can remember. At one time, Dolly modeled for Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor in Boston. She loved shopping and ballroom dancing. Dolly was a hostess in her late husband’s restaurant in a private airport. Together they owned a cottage on Cape Cod and went boating on the ocean. Dolly’s life was always filled with activity and people.

After the passing of her husband, Dolly came to live with Clare’s family in Norman. Needing to interact with people and participate in stimulating activities while Clare was working, Dolly brought her friendly, outgoing ways to Full Circle. She especially loves talking with other participants, singing, bingo, and doing arts and craft projects.

Here is what Clare shared about Full Circle Senior Adult Day Center:

“Full Circle Day Care has been a blessing for our family. Before my mother began attending here, days were long and somewhat boring. Because our family was busy with school and jobs during the day, we had to hire companions for her. Although they tried to do the best to keep her entertained, it just wasn’t stimulating enough.

Now she can’t wait to get up in the morning to begin a new day. At Full Circle, her day is filled with so many enjoyable activities. She especially likes arts and crafts and sing-a-longs. There is also moderate exercise. Occasional guests come in and share their interests. A great hot lunch is provided along with two snacks. The staff are caring and show their love.
We just can’t say enough about Full Circle.”
